Strange Tales are a bass and synth-driven duo producing melodic musical curiosities from the darker side of the street. Their songs relate baroque cautionary tales from the murkier corners of the human psyche, involving robots, witches and the occasional railway-based haunting – all while retaining a pop sensibility and stripped-down, punk-rock approach. Strange Tales are fronted by Wiltshire-based Sally Moriarty on vocals/synth/drum programming, underpinned by the distinctive basslines of Paul Sloots, resident of West Sussex.


Strange Tales are hoping to play more gigs soon in Brighton, Wiltshire, London and frankly anywhere else that will have them. Theyhave just finished recording their debut album which is due for release in digital format in  late summer 2016. In the meantime, you can listen to tracks at
