Strange Tales are a melodic, bass and synth-driven band producing melodic musical curiosities from the darker side of the street. Their songs relate baroque cautionary tales drawn from the murkier corners of the human psyche, while retaining a pop sensibility and stripped-down, punk-rock approach. The band is fronted by Wiltshire-based Sally Dobson on vocals/synth/drum programming, underpinned by the distinctive basslines of Paul Sloots, resident of West Sussex and veteran of the Crawley music scene that spawned goth idols The Cure. They are now joined by guitarist Lea Truckle.

The Strange Tales debut album “Unknown To Science” is available now as a download from iTunes, Amazon and all the usual suspects and can also be streamed on Spotify. CD copies will be available at forthcoming gigs in Salisbury, Brighton etc – keep an eye out for dates and info to be posted soon.
